Walk for Our Children 2016

Our annual walkathon and carnival, Walk for Our Children, will return this year with the theme ‘Coming Together: Celebrating Harmony in Diversity’. This signature fundraising event will include a 3.5km walkathon around the scenic Marina Bay area, followed by a carnival and exciting fringe activities. It will be held on Sunday, 14 August 2016.

You can show your support in various ways, including through outright donations, sponsorship, by purchasing carnival coupons, organising internal pledge-card collection exercises, volunteering or simply coming along.

For more information on how you can contribute, please contact Mr Ke Wei Wen at wwke@childrensociety.org.sg or Mr Melvin Tay at mtay@childrensociety.org.sg.

A Little Kindness, Lots of Joy! – Children’s Day 2016

Make kindness a part of this Children’s Day, and you could bring joy to children in need.

Whether you are a teacher or a parent, encourage the young ones to embrace the spirit of giving while helping to spread happiness to children in need. Their acts of love and charity can make a real difference to the future of our young charges.

Email us anytime from 1 September 2016 to request a donation envelope that the children can use to make their contribution, or to make a donation yourself.

For more information, contact Ms Huang Ai Juan at ajhuang@childrensociety.org.sg or Mr Melvin Tay at mtay@childrensociety.org.sg.

Fun-filled Free Market

Singapore Children’s Society’s Free Market returns on 19 November 2016 with lots of pre-loved treats for its beneficiaries. It will run from 10am to 5pm at OnePeople.sg.

Organised by the Youth Service Centre (Toa Payoh), the annual event will put up a generous mix of donated items, available free-of-charge to those they help. These include clothes, household goods and stationery.

This carnival-styled and fun-filled Free Market will also feature games, live acts, and competitions for children, youth and families.

For more information on donating items or to volunteer at the Free Market, please call 6253 1124.
