Walk for Our Children 2017

In conjunction with our 65th anniversary, our annual walkathon and carnival, Walk for Our Children, will return this year with the theme ‘Celebrating Every Step Together’. This signature fundraising event will include a 2.06km walkathon through the Chinese Garden, followed by a carnival and exciting fringe activities. It will be held on Sunday, 30 July 2017, from 8.30am to 12.30pm.

You can show your support in various ways, including purchasing carnival coupons, outright donations, sponsorship, volunteering or simply coming along.

For more information on how you can contribute, please contact Ms Yasmin Niepelt at yniepelt@childrensociety.org.sg or Ms Jasmine Ng at jng@childrensociety.org.sg.

Bully-Free Roadshow 2017

Through the Roadshow, Children’s Society hopes to raise awareness of the importance of preventing cyberbullying among children and youth, as well as of its Bully-Free Programme.

Singapore Children's Society 65th Anniversary Conference

Singapore Children’s Society will hold its 65th Anniversary Conference at the NTUC Auditorium on 24 and 25 November. The Conference will open with a lecture delivered by Mr Chan Chun Sing, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office. It will be followed by a forum during which individuals who have taken less travelled paths will talk about the meaning of success and excellence, and show how, in their lives, this has extended beyond academic achievements.

The second day will kick off with the Singapore Children’s Forum, a platform for children to engage in dialogue, and to discuss and express their opinions on issues that affect and matter to them. There will also be fringe events and performances put up by our youth.

More updates will follow on our website and Facebook page later in the year.
