Fuelling Children’s Dreams

July 2016

In collaboration with the OCBC-TODAY Children’s Fund, food and beverage outlets islandwide such as Antoinette, Brunches Café, Cake Avenue, Charlie Brown Café, Lucha Loco, P. Bistro, Super Loco, The Oven Café Bistro and TimeTable Café will contribute part of the proceeds from the sale of specific 'charity dishes' to Singapore Children’s Society.

This means that diners can tuck into good eats for a great cause.

For instance, patrons can indulge in 22 matcha creations from 'Fetish Matcha', the first of Antoinette's inaugural Fetish Series, curated by Chef Pang Kok Keong. $1 will be donated for every order of selected Matcha Items and $5 will be donated from the sale of each La Carte Fetish Matcha set.

“As parents, we understand the challenges of bringing up children, inculcating them with the right values, and providing them with a safe environment in which to grow. Hence we feel deeply if a child is deprived of this support system, or worse, if they have been abused, abandoned and neglected,” says Mr Pang Tuck Wing, co-founder of P. Bistro when asked why he came on board to raise funds for Children's Society. P. Bistro will be donating 10% of their daily dinner proceeds.

Believing that everyone should do their part in helping the less privileged, Cake Avenue has pledged to donate $1 for every lunch or dinner set top-up.

Through the Fund and other programmes they support, OCBC Bank and TODAY hope to help children in need grow into confident and useful individuals with high self-esteem, character and discipline. OCBC Bank is committed to matching every $2 contributed by members of the public with $1.

Follow the Fund’s Facebook Page (www.facebook.com/ocbctcf) and website (www.ocbctodayfund.sg) closely for updates on participating outlets.
