Setting Sail at the Singapore Maritime Gallery

July 2015

It was all aboard for 25 children from the Children Service Centre’s KidzSHinE programme as they journeyed to the Singapore Maritime Gallery on 28 March to learn all about Singapore’s history as a port.

They sailed through Singapore’s transformation from a fishing village to one of the world’s busiest ports, and learnt about its port operations, and some of the imports and exports that pass through it.

Our little seafarers also had some fun at the playground.

Thank you to the volunteers from Amway (Singapore) Pte Ltd for this marvellous maritime-inspired day!
