Started in 2013, the Singapore Children’s Forum (SCF) is a platform for children and young persons (CYP) in Singapore to express their views on issues that matter to them. Anchoring the SCF is Article 12 of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) — that CYP have a right to participate in matters that affect them and for their opinions to be taken seriously.

How will SCF 2022 look like?

It will take the format of a 6-month programme from June to December to enable youth to journey meaningfully with each other and with mentors from Singapore Children’s Society.

Youth will have the opportunity to explore topics such as mental health, the digital world, relationships with family and peers, and climate change. They will also be empowered with skills to design a project on the topic of their choice.

How can I register?

We welcome all youth aged 13 to 18 to join the SCF. You can register here.

If you are unable to make it for the SCF, but are interested in the topics mentioned above, you can join our mailing list and receive invites on sessions which explore these topics. You can sign up for the mailing list here.
