Penal Code Review: Who Wants What

The Penal Code Review Committee has made a series of recommendations to ensure that our laws in protecting the vulnerable remains relevant and updated. Singapore Children’s Society has submitted a paper to the Minister for Law and Home Affairs, addressing the need for a dedicated legislation to tackle the issue of ‘child pornography’, which we suggest should be termed ‘child sexual abuse material’ instead, to underscore the fact that children had been exploited in these materials.
