Strategy for the Society’s Future
In order to stay relevant and meet the evolving needs of our beneficiaries, Singapore Children’s Society needs to consistently review its programmes and services, and plan for the future.
This year, the Strategic Planning Meeting took place on 8 March at Parkroyal on Beach Road. To glean insights and gather opinions from various levels of the organisation, the meeting involved the Society’s Executive Committee members, heads of department and other staff.
The day began with an overview by the Society’s management of our key milestones, achievements, services and performance, which was followed by round-table discussions on the Society’s strategic thrusts. These touched on fund-raising, our staffing needs and the role of volunteers. Participants then voted on the way forward.
The feedback gathered will drive the Society’s direction for the next five years, so that it can continue to excel in bringing relief and happiness to children in need.
