A Little Kindness, Lots of Joy! – Children’s Day 2018
Help us spread joy to children in need with a Children’s Day donation – and do get your children in on the sharing, too.
By encouraging the young ones to embrace the spirit of giving, we hope to spread the message of love and charity, and help them learn that they can make a difference to the futures of those in need.
Contact us to request for donation envelopes from 1 September 2018, and return them at your convenience.
A little help goes a long way, so join us in this project and play your part in changing the lives of our children.

Walk for Our Children 2018
Walk for Our Children 2018, to be held on 9 September, promises to be an exciting Sunday morning for both young and old.
Our signature fundraising event, themed ‘Safari’ this year, will include a 3km walkathon through Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park. It will be followed by a carnival and exciting fringe activities, including an inflatable maze and human foosball.
The walk and carnival will take place from 8.30am to 1.30pm at Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park’s Ficus Green lawn.
You can show your support for this event in various ways, including by purchasing carnival coupons, making outright donations, through coupon sponsorship for Children’s Society’s beneficiaries, volunteering or by simply coming along.
For more information, please contact Ms Vivian Tan at firstname.lastname@example.org or Ms Cheryln Ang at email@example.com or on 6273 2010.
12th Singapore Children’s Society Lecture
Associate Professor Teo You Yenn, Head of Sociology at Nanyang Technological University, will take to the podium at the Singapore Children’s Society Lecture this year.
A PhD graduate from the University of California, Berkeley, Assoc Prof Teo's research centres on understanding inequality – how it is experienced, how it is reproduced and the ways in which inequality is rationalised and naturalised.
The lecture will be held at 10am on 15 September 2018 at the Mochtar Riady Auditorium of the Singapore Management University Administration Building.
Now in its 12th year, this annual lecture series was launched in 2007 as part of Children’s Society’s efforts to raise public awareness on issues pertaining to the welfare and well-being of children, youth and their families.
