Singapore Children’s Society successfully raised a record $1.2 million at the 70th Anniversary Charity Gala Dinner held on 22 November. This amount was raised through table sales, outright donations as well as live and silent auctions at the Charity Gala Dinner.

In line with our 70th Anniversary tagline, ‘70 years of bringing hope and smiles’, this Learning Festival conveyed what we achieved thus far over the past seven decades for our next generation and our continued efforts to be a leading-edge organisation in promoting the well-being of children in need.

Singapore Children’s Society’s two fundraising initiatives – the 1000 Enterprises for Children-in-Need (1000E) and 1000 Philanthropists (1000P) programmes – registered strong support from enterprises and individuals, raising a total of $6.4 million in 2021, and $5.6 million in 2020 during COVID-19 pandemic.

An annual affair since 1982, the Singapore Children’s Society Awards 2021, will be held on 30 October 2021 and pays tribute to volunteers and donors, who, through their commitment and philanthropic efforts, have made a significant difference in the lives of the beneficiaries under the organisation’s care.
