The inaugural Skechers Friendship Walk announces its Corporate Social Responsibility initiative that aims to bring friendship and family bonding to another level, by being an inclusive society and supporting underprivileged children.

Campaign Details

Skechers partners Sunbeam Place @ Children’s Society, a residential home and gazetted place of safety for children who have been abused and neglected and in need of protection, or whose parents are unable to provide proper care.

To contribute to the cause, the public can purchase a pair of Skechers kids shoes at a special price of $30. Skechers will absorb the remaining cost and donate the pair on the buyer’s behalf.

All shoes will be donated to Sunbeam Place @ Children’s Society.

Message

Children’s Society will have a booth on the day of the Friendship Walk to gather donations from the participants. Funds raised will be channelled towards supporting the children and youth at Sunbeam Place @ Children’s Society.

Preparing the beneficiaries and their families for reunification through casework and counselling, Sunbeam Place @ Children’s Society also provides programmes to develop the children’s skills to help facilitate the transition from the centre to society as an adult.
