2019 is a special year for Art Speaks Studio as we are holding our inaugural art exhibition this year. We believe that this will be a great experience for our students as most of them do not have the opportunity to participate in one previously. We hope that the participation of these students in the exhibition will enable them to broaden their horizon.

As Christmas just around the corner, Art Speaks Studio would like to take this opportunity to encourage all parents to spread some love for the less fortunate children at Singapore Children’s Society through your generous donation. Let us work together to bring some festive cheer to this group of children!

ABOUT THE EXHIBITION

Our world can sometimes seem like a bleak place if we delve into the myriad of problems we are facing. However, through this exhibition, each child has an opportunity to present a dream and vision for their future through an original artwork. Each artwork has been lovingly thought through and created by each participant through a medium of their choice over the course of a few months. All works will be exhibited at The Substation.

The Substation is known for its pioneering and experimental arts programming. Over the years, it has worked with some of Singapore’s most critically acclaimed artists, writers and intellectuals. We are pleased to provide this opportunity to Art Speaks Studio’s students to showcase their work in this prolific gallery. All proceeds generated from the sale of the artworks will go to Singapore Children’s Society.

ABOUT ART SPEAKS STUDIO

It is in their nature for children to be creative and to possess a high level of energy. Art Speaks Studio recognises these traits and our programmes are tailored to channel their creativity and energy into wonderful art pieces that all parents can be proud of. Our classes are conducted using various interesting themes to capture and arouse students’ interest. Through experimenting with innovative materials, students will be captivated throughout their lessons. We are confident students can complete their artwork without much influence from our teachers once they have acquired the necessary skills. Our proven method of conducting classes will guarantee an improvement in their communication, concentration and gross motor skills. As students gradually understand the meaning of taking pride in their own work, parents will start noticing an improvement in their child’s confidence.
