கலங்கும் பிள்ளைகளை ஆதரிக்கும் அன்னைக்கு விருது

Singapore Children’s Society recognised 64 volunteer and donors at its yearly awards presentation. Recipients had the opportunity to receive their awards from President Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Children’s Society’s Patron-in-Chief and Guest of Honour for the event, as well as Chief Executive Officer, Ms Ang Boon Min.

One of this year’s Silver Service Award recipients, Ms Shveta Prithiani, was featured in an article by Tamil Murasu. Ms Prithiani spoke about her experiences as a volunteer under the Society’s Tinkle Friend, Appropriate Adult Scheme for Young Suspects and Vulnerable Witness Support programmes, how it has impacted her and the training that she received to better support children and youth.
