Senior Management
Chief Executive Officer
Ms Ang Boon Min
Ms Ang Boon Min is the Chief Executive Officer of Singapore Children’s Society, a position she held since May 2020. She was appointed Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Children’s Society in 2019 and first joined the Society as its Deputy Director of Strategic Planning in September 2013. Prior to that, she spent four years with PwC Economics in London advising companies on competition and financial economics, and five years with the PwC Transaction Services Group in Singapore working on mergers & acquisitions and reviewing companies’ growth strategies. Boon Min graduated with First Class Honours in Government and Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Senior Consultant
Ms Sue Cheng
Ms Sue Cheng is the Senior Consultant of Singapore Children’s Society. She was the Chief Service Officer from 2017 to 2023. Sue joined Children’s Society in 2002 as a Senior Counsellor in Yishun Family Service @ Children’s Society and subsequently headed the Research and Outreach Centre in 2003. She then held the position of Senior Director of the Research and Outreach Centre from 2013 to 2016. Prior to that, Sue worked at Nanyang Technological University for 15 years as an Administrator and Student Counsellor. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications and Psychology at York University, Canada, completed her Master in Social Science (Counselling) with the University of South Australia and a Post-graduate Diploma in Psychotherapy with the National University of Singapore.

Director - Community Engagement and Partnerships
Ms Felicia Chua
Ms Felicia Chua is the Director of Community Engagement and Partnership, a position that she has held since March 2024. Felicia is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive community engagement strategies to foster strong relationships between the charity and its community members, ensuring a harmonious and mutually beneficial interaction. In her working career, Felicia has held both managerial and executive positions, in the public and social service sectors. She has accumulated a rich blend of experience in community outreach, public relations, and strategic partnership development.
Director - Corporate Services Department
Mr Gary Liang
Mr Gary Liang is the Director of the Corporate Services Department, a position he has held since February 2024. Gary accumulated over a decade of experience in digitalisation projects, corporate planning, operations, and case management across various social services agencies and the eldercare sector. Gary holds a Degree in Finance and Economics, complemented by a Master’s Degree in Social Work. Gary is also a registered social worker with the Singapore Association of Social Workers.
Director - Human Resources
Ms Pearly Leong
Ms Pearly Leong is the Director of Human Resources Department of Singapore Children’s Society, a position she has held since January 2023. In the span of her career, Pearly was responsible for the full spectrum of human resource functions. Prior to joining Children’s Society, she held HR appointments in various sectors, including education, arts and social service.
Director - Finance and Corporate Administration
Ms Peck Li Yi
Ms Peck Li Yi is the Director of Finance and Corporate Administration Department of Singapore Children’s Society, a position she held since January 2022. She has close to 15 years of experience in audit and accounting. Prior to joining Children’s Society, Li Yi held managerial positions in Big Four public accounting firms and various government-linked agencies. Li Yi is a Chartered Accountant of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants.
Deputy Director - Strategic Communications and Outreach
Ms Selene Ong
Ms Selene Ong is the Deputy Director of Strategic Communications and Outreach, a position she has held since May 2024. Selene’s work includes establishing Singapore Children’s Society as a thought leader on child-related issues and upholding brand image through strategic storytelling and outreach. Prior to this role, she accumulated a decade’s worth of work experience in the non-profit sector, serving communities in crisis locally and abroad. Selene graduated with a Double Major Degree in Communication & Media Studies and Public Relations from Murdoch University.
Assistant Director - Compliance
Ms Vanessa Wong
Ms Vanessa Wong is the Assistant Director of Compliance of Singapore Children’s Society, a position she has held since January 2021. Vanessa’s work includes providing independent and objective assurances over the adequacy of internal controls by performing internal audits. She also promotes awareness of good internal controls and best practices. Her other involvements are to facilitate risk management activities and ensure the timely submission of statutory returns to the regulatory authorities.

Senior Director - Group Lead of Children In Care
Ms Gracia Goh
Ms Gracia Goh is currently the Group Lead for Professional Development and Children in Care Group of Singapore Children’s Society, working with vulnerable children and their families. Gracia was first employed in 2006 as a Counsellor at Sunbeam Place @ Children’s Society. She re-joined the Society in 2011 as Senior Counsellor at Yishun Family Service @ Children’s Society before transferring to the then-Children Service Centre at Bedok. She led cross-centre projects across a few of our service centres working with children in interim rental housing. In 2013, Gracia was appointed Assistant Director at one of our youth drop-in centre, JYC @ Children’s Society. In 2015, she was appointed Deputy Director for our Children Service Centre. Gracia then established the Safe and Strong Families – Reunification (SSF-R) team as the Lead Social Worker in 2017, before her appointment as Clinical Service Director in 2019 for Sunbeam Place and Reunification Service.

Ms Lin Xiaoling
Ms Lin Xiaoling is the Group Lead of the Research and Advocacy Group of Singapore Children’s Society. She joined the Society in 2010 as a Public Education Executive, working on developing public education and advocacy initiatives for the Society. Xiaoling’s work is focused on preventing child abuse and neglect, promoting body safety education in young children and positive parenting, as well as translating the organisation’s research findings into practical actions for greater impact and change.

Ms Tan Bee Joo
Ms Tan Bee Joo is the Senior Director and Head of Family and Children Outreach @ Children’s Society, a position she has held since May 2023. She is also the Head of Community Services & Programmes @ Children’s Society. Bee Joo was first employed in 1998 as a Social Worker at the then-Bukit Merah Centre which she subsequently headed. She was promoted to Senior Social Worker in 2004, then Head of Centre in 2005. In 2012, Bee Joo was appointed as the Co-Director of Yishun Family Service @ Children’s Society, while she set up and headed the then-Talks and Workshops Programmes Centre in 2013. She then become the Head of Yishun Family Service Centre from 2016 to April 2023 helping families and individuals to achieve independence, stability and resilience.
Senior Director - Group Lead of Children and Youth Services Group
Ms Tan Bee Keow
Ms Tan Bee Keow is the Group Lead for Children and Youth Service Group of Singapore Children’s Society, a position she has held since 2020. Bee Keow was first employed in 1998 as a Social Worker and re-joined the Society as a Director in Youth Service @ Children’s Society in 2017. In 2021, she was the Senior Director for both Youth Service @ Children Society and RoundBox @ Children’s Society.

Director - Head of JYC
Mr Benedict Kuah
Mr Benedict Kuah is the Head of our youth drop-in centre, JYC@ Children’s Society, a position he has held since July 2021. He was first employed in 2002 as a Social Work Assistant in Yishun Family Service @ Children’s Society. Since then, he has been involved in counselling and social work in the Research & Outreach Department, and Sunbeam Place @ Children’s Society respectively. In 2015, he was appointed as Deputy Director for JYC @ Children’s Society.
Deputy Director - Head of Research and Advocacy Department (Research Unit)
Dr Charlene Fu
Dr Charlene Fu is the Head of the Research Unit. She has held this position since she joined the Singapore Children’s Society in 2019. In her role, she oversees the Unit’s Research projects in issues relating to children, youth and families, as well as the Unit’s Evaluation projects. Prior to joining Children’s Society, she worked in research focusing on early development, and taught at the National University of Singapore, where she also completed her graduate studies.
Deputy Director - Head of VOX
Mr Chee Thow Wei Liat
Mr Chee Thow Wei Liat is the Deputy Director and Head of VOX @ Children’s Society, a position he has held since 2018. Wei Liat was first employed as a counsellor in 2010 in Community Services and Programmes. In 2015, Wei Liat started VOX together with two other colleagues and was promoted to the position of Senior Social Worker upon graduation from his social work graduate diploma.
Director - Head of Financial Assistance Unit and Yishun Family Service
Mr Fang Xinwei
Mr Fang Xinwei is the Head of Yishun Family Service @ Children’s Society and Financial Assistance Unit. He was first employed by Children’s Society as a social worker in 2013. Over the years, he took on different roles including Head of Student Care Service Centre and Team Lead of Community & Volunteer Relations Team.
Deputy Director - Head of Student Service
Ms Gloria Ng
Ms Gloria Ng is the Deputy Director and Head of Student Service at Singapore Children’s Society. She has been working with Children and Young Persons (CYP) and their families from diverse backgrounds since 2012. Gloria was involved in numerous groupworks with children and parents, conducted workshops for educators, volunteers, and helping professionals. She also provided casework support to CYP in out-of-home care to support safe and enduring reunification, working with families and educators to promote the importance of the child’s holistic development in their early years.
Director - Head of Sunbeam Place
Ms Joy Lim
Ms Joy Lim is the Head of Sunbeam Place @ Children’s Society, a position she has held since May 2023. She was appointed as Director at Children Outreach @ Children’s Society in 2015 to support children who have experienced parental incarceration and who have school absenteeism issues as well. Joy has also worked with youth offenders as an Integrated Service Provider in the Centre. Joy joined Children’s Society as a Social Worker in 2002 and worked with juveniles and youth offenders at the then-Toa Payoh Centre.

Ms Lee Hwee Nah
Ms Lee Hwee Nah is the Director and Head of Youth Service @ Children’s Society, a position she has held since July 2022. She was first employed in 1998 at the then-Toa Payoh Centre (TPC). Hwee Nah was subsequently promoted to Senior Social Worker. In 2005, she headed JYC @ Children’s Society for a year. To broaden her professional development, she joined MOE in 2009 as an Allied Educator. In 2018, she re-joined the Society as Assistant Director of TPC.
Assistant Director - Head of Reunification Service
Ms Nawal Adam Koay
Ms Nawal Adam Koay is the Assistant Director and Head of Reunification Service. Nawal was first employed in 2012 as a counsellor at our youth drop-in centre, where she developed and implemented programmes for children and youth living in the Western area of Singapore and in rental homes. She later supported the development of the children drop-in centre (DEN @ JYC) before joining the Reunification Service. Nawal has 10 years of experience working with at-risk children and youth, and children and youth in the child welfare system. She has also provided over three years of clinical supervision on cases relating to the child welfare system.
Assistant Director - Head of RoundBox
Mr Norirwansah Bin Ramli
Mr Noriwansah Bin Ramli is the Assistant Director and the Head of RoundBox @ Children’s Society. He started as a Youth Worker in Bukit Merah Centre (now known as Student Service @ Children’s Society) in 2012 before becoming a Counsellor in 2013. Noriwansah worked at The Fort @ Children’s Society in 2018 and became Social Programme Manager in July 2021. He has a total of 11 years of experience in the social service sector, working with youth in both school and community settings doing preventive and developmental work.
Assistant Director - Head of The Fort
Mr Taufiq Bin Salehoodin
Mr Taufiq Bin Salehoodin is the Assistant Director and Head of The Fort @ Children’s Society, a position he has held since July 2024. Taufiq first joined Children’s Society as a counsellor in 2012. In 2014, he developed Tinkle Friend online chat, Singapore’s only chat service for children and has since been involved in various nationwide programmes at Student Service @ Children’s Society. With 12 years of experience in the social service sector, Taufiq has worked extensively with children and youth in school and community settings.
Deputy Director - Head of Flourishing Minds
Ms Vivyan Chee
Ms Vivyan Chee is the Deputy Director and Head of Flourishing Minds, a position she has held since July 2022. She was first employed in 2011 as a Counsellor in Youth Services and then as a Senior Counsellor in Safe and Strong Families – Reunification (SSF-R) in 2017. Vivyan subsequently headed SSF-R as the Assistant Director in 2020. She has more than 10 years of experience working with at-risk youth, children and youth in the child welfare system and those who struggle with their mental health. Vivyan also provided clinical supervision for over six years.
