In conjunction with our 65th anniversary, we will be conducting our 65th Anniversary Conference from 24 to 25 November 2017. Singapore Children’s Forum will take place on the second day of the Conference.
In 2013, Singapore Children’s Society inaugurated the Singapore Children’s Forum to serve as a public platform for children in Singapore to dialogue, discuss and express their opinions on issues that affect and matter to them. In keeping with the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, the Singapore Children’s Forum encourages students to actively participate and represent themselves in their communities.
This year’s Forum focuses on the theme “What Makes You Shine?”. We hope to hear from children aged 10 to 12 on what success means to them and the factors involved in attaining success.
As a lead-up to the Forum on 25 November, there will be a three-day pre-forum orientation from 21 to 23 November 2017. Please find the details listed below. Kindly note that your child will have to attend all three days of the pre-forum orientation and the Forum itself.
Parents, educators and social service professionals are invited to attend the Forum on 25 November. Registration details for guests will be released at a later date.
