The 1000 Enterprises programme is a Corporate Social Responsibility initiative launched in 2009 that encourages companies to adopt Children’s Society as their official supported charity by pledging an annual donation to the Society.

Launched in May 2014, the 1000 Philanthropists programme encourages individuals to contribute $1,000 or more a year to the Society and aims to make philanthropy accessible to individuals from all walks of life.

With the funds raised from the two programmes, Singapore Children’s Society can further its mission of bringing relief and happiness to children in need. 2022 marks another milestone for Children’s Society as it celebrates its 70th Anniversary. As Children’s Society looks back at its journey and achievements over the past decades, it also looks ahead to the future and endeavours to continue bringing hope and smiles to its beneficiaries.

Said Mr Koh Choon Hui, Chairman of Singapore Children’s Society at the event, “All of you here today have helped us to raise the much-needed funds to make our work possible. With rising inflation, middle and lower income families will be hard hit with rising living and household expenses and they will need our support most. Your continued support will allow us to bring hope and smiles to more children, youth and families in need.”
