The article below is a profile interview of Mrs Priscilla Lui, Speaker at our 14th Singapore Children’s Society Lecture and Chairperson of the Hong Kong Committee on Children’s Rights. Drawing on more than 40 years of experience in child protection and advocacy of children’s rights, she shared on the importance of the collective efforts of the community in safeguarding of children. She advocated for parents to communicate and guide their children instead of using corporal punishment. She also shared on her own parenting journey and her various work over the past four decades in this sector. The article also carried information on the Lecture, highlighting the topics to be discussed and past speakers.
