The article below features one of our volunteers, Mr Robin Choo, who volunteers with Sunbeam Place @ Children’s Society and Yishun Family Service @ Children’s Society. In his interview with Lianhe Zaobao, he shared how he developed his passion for music, as well as his side gig as a busker. Volunteering with various organisations including Singapore Children’s Society, Robin spreads joy through teaching guitar and performing for beneficiaries. During the pandemic, he began helping with the delivery of food rations at Yishun Family Service, which he continues till today. He also spoke about his motivations for volunteering and what he gained from the experience.
