Join us to provide care and make life better for our
children and their families. Whether you are befriending
our children, raising funds or helping out in events,
you are working alongside us for a common cause - to
protect the physical, mental and emotional well-being
of our children, our assets.
At Singapore Children’s Society, we have a range
of volunteering opportunities that you can choose from.
Reach out to a child by becoming a friend, or simply
lend a listening ear to children who are lonely, distressed
or facing relationship problems. You can also choose
to educate and enhance the lives of our children by
giving talks, conducting activities, or teaching a skill.
Here are some activities that you can volunteer in:
- Administrative Work
- Befriending
- Children & Family Support
- Fund Raising
- Outings
- Skills Sharing
- Tuition

From The Heart
Here’s what some of our volunteers have to say
about their experiences:
‘I
like what I’m doing because I love children and
I love talking to them. In a way, I am helping them
with their problems which may seem nothing to adults.’
– Sarasa, Tinkle Friend Volunteer
‘I
volunteer as I know that there are others who need help
more than me, especially the children who are from less-privileged
homes.’
– Rong Quan, Student Care Volunteer
‘It
is gratifying to note that every child who was admitted
to the Home gained weight after staying there for three
to four months.’
– Committee Member Dr Lim Hwee Leng
