Project CABIN

Project CABIN is a school based youth outreach project. Fully functional classrooms or containers are set up at 18 secondary schools to provide an alternative hangout place for youths to “hang out” after school hours. Activities are organised to engage the youth in meaningful activities and positive interaction.

The CABIN is run by a group of student CABIN Club members under the guidance of teachers and social workers from Singapore Children’s Society. CABIN Club is a co-curricular activity in schools.

Round Box

Round Box

Round Box is a drop-in centre targeting youth-at-risk through a variety of performing arts programmes. At this centre, youth are able to express their creative energies, learn new skills as well as make new friends through activities such as dance, drama, puppetry, mime, circus and music. The classes, conducted by professional trainers or volunteers, are offered at no charge to these youth.

Youth Centre (Jurong)

A drop-in centre located in the Western part of Singapore. This centre reaches out to youth-at-risk through counselling, and/ or by engaging them in programmes such as fashion design, ceramic making, makeup application, nail art and more. These life and job training programmes are designed to equip these youth with skills that will benefit them for future employment. The centre also conducts life-skills training in secondary schools in the vicinity.

LEAP (Let Every Aspect Progress)

The LEAP programme was developed to facilitate the development of healthy self-image among children. The programme gives children an opportunity to explore and appreciate their strengths and other positive traits.

Sunbeam Friends Club

Sunbeam Friends club was set up with the aim of bringing fun and joy to children and youth through healthy, creative and constructive activities. Staff and volunteers conduct varied indoor and outdoor interactive activities on Saturdays with the children and youth.

Camp V-Nest

Targeted at children, Camp V-Nest imparts living values such as Peace, Respect and Love through interactive group activities and music therapy sessions. The values empower children by teaching them to deal with conflict, build respectful relationships with other people and to widen their circle of compassion as well as exhibit fine social skills.

Mathematical Whizz

Using a mix of challenging group activities, games, quizzes, IT lessons and more, Mathematical Whizz is about improving children’s problem solving skills and reasoning as well as to develop a passion for Mathematics.

The Way (Wise Attitude for Young children)

The programme teaches positive values and character building that is vital to the success of any individual through story telling, role playing, songs, memory verses, games and more.
