Singapore Children’s Society has been actively caring
for children in need since 1952. Through our 9 service
centres, we provide services and assistance to help children
in need, dysfunctional families and wayward youths live
better lives. We reach out to about 12,000 children annually.
We classify "Children" as those aged 2-12,
and "Youths" as those aged 13-16. The Children
and Young Persons Act defines a child as someone below
14 years old and a young person as someone who is 14-16
years old.
Our services can be classified into 6 broad categories:
Our nine service centres are as follows:
- Bukit Merah Centre
- Children’s Home - Sunbeam Place
- Henderson Student Care Centre
- Jurong Youth Centre
- Research & Outreach Department
- RoundBox
- Singapore Children’s Society - SGH Peritoneal
Dialysis Centre
