Partners


Fund-raising is an important aspect of charity work in our organisation. At Singapore Children’s Society, we work closely with our corporate partners to plan and implement fund raising events. Their contributions and dedicated efforts towards our cause of helping children in need allow us to carry out our work for the children under our care. We thank all our partners for their generous support.

		ABR Holdings Limited Swensen’s, a subsidiary of ABR Holding Limited adopted Children’s Society for the year 2005 and 2006. They have organised a movie screening and lunch at Swensen’s restaurant for about 100 children under our care. The restaurant has also raised funds through various initiatives like the sale of Chinese New Year Cookies, Children’s Society handphone straps and ice-cream coupons.



		Advanced Micro Devices Singapore Pte Ltd AMD Singapore has been an ardent support of Singapore Children’s Society’s fundraising activities since 2003. Recently, they have also extended their support to funding our social service programme in our Youth Centre (Jurong) which include setting the facility for the IT programme



		Amway (Singapore) Pte Ltd Amway Singapore aim to improve children’s well-being and to give them a future. With this endeavour, Amway has supported Children’s Society activities in many forms which include sponsorship of Donation Draw Prizes, rallying for their distributor’s participation for the Walk and helping to defray the costs of our “A little kindness, lots of joy!” project.



		ANZ The Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Ltd is committed to enhancing the well-being and prosperity of the communities it serves. As such, ANZ donated $27,000 to Singapore Children’s Society. The money will go towards sponsoring five children from its Student Care Centre (Henderson).



		Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore CAAS has pledged their support by allowing us to place our “GIVE” box at the Changi Airport so that the visitors going in/out of Singapore can play their part to help us in our mission to bring relief and happiness to children in need.



		The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf (S) Pte Ltd Coffee Bean has been a strong supporter of Children’ Society through the placement of our "GIVE" boxes at the island-wide outlets, donation of part proceeds for the first day sale of new outlet and the annual “Deck A Wall” campaign where café goers can adopt the festive cards and play their part for charity.



		Hong Leong Foundation A foundation by the Hong Leong Group to help the less fortunate in society, Hong Leong Foundation has been a faithfully supporter of the work done by Children’s Society for many years. With their support, Children’s Society has been able to grow year on year to serve the less fortunate children, youth and their families.



		Lee Foundation Singapore The Lee Foundation was founded in the same year as Children’s Society by philanthropist and businessman, Lee Kong Chian, in 1952. The Lee Foundation has been a faithful supporter over the years to helping fulfill our mission to help bring relief and happiness to children in need.



		OCBC Bank Being a home-grown bank, OCBC has committed itself in playing an active role for the less privileged children. In 2004, OCBC has adopted Children’s Society with a funding commitment of $500,000 per year over a five year period. OCBC staff is also actively involved in the centres organising children’s outings, spring-cleaning the home and even conducting simplified financial management workshops for the children.



		Seagate Technology International Seagate Technology takes their social responsibility role seriously and strives to make a positive contribution in the communities. To this end, they have since 2003 help to make a difference in the lives of our children by supporting the work at Student Care Centre.



		Singapore Film Society Since 2003, Singapore Film Society has been a key partner for our Charity Film Premiere projects through ticket sales. The Singapore Film Society has over forty years of history and experience in conceptualising, programming, marketing and managing a wide spectrum of movie events. Their support has been invaluable in our Charity Film Premieres.



		Singapore Telecommunications Ltd To many, SingTel Touching Lives Fund will ring a familiar bell. And it is through Sing Tel’s commitment to Children’s Society’s Tinklefriend Helpline, many children’s lives are touched. SingTel has provided funding for the helpline since 2004 through a series of fundraising initiatives, championed and supported by their staff and customers.



		UBS The global financial services firm UBS is a major supporter of both Sunbeam Place and the new Children's Society Children Service Centre through both funding and employee volunteering. In addition, UBS employees have made personal financial contributions which are matched by the firm. In 2007, UBS was also the worth receipient of the distinguished Gopal Harridas Award at our Annual Award Ceremony.
