Charity Gala Dinner 2010

The Charity Gala Dinner focuses on a formal dinner setting with quality entertainment content. The objective is to raise funds, network and create awareness amongst corporate companies. 

The theme this year is on Nostalgia and there will be a medley of songs from the various genres by various renowned artists. All proceeds goes to Singapore Children’s Society.

Walk for Our Children 2010

Walk for Our Children is an annual significant fundraising event for Singapore Children's Society. Aside from our walkathon and carnival activities, we are also partnering the Singapore Kite Association to bring in kite makers to demonstrate kite making techniques and kites each at 20 meters long. We target to raise $380,000 for the 66,000 children, youth and families under our care.

Date : 1st August 2010, Sunday
Time : 8.30am to 5.00pm
Venue: West Coast Park (Grand Lawn)

Free bus services on 1 August to West Coast Park
Time: 8am to 12pm
Venue: Clementi MRT (near Taxi Stand)

How you can help:

  1. Sponsorships for event (branding mileage with sponsorship of $3,000 and above)
  2. Outright donation (full tax-exemption granted)
  3. Purchase carnival coupons, and/or
  4. Pledge card donations
  5. Volunteer
  6. Participate in the walk

1000 Enterprises for Children-in-Need

The "1000 Enterprises for Children-in-Need" fund raising initiative is a project that hopes to encourage 1000 small, medium and large enterprises to donate $1,000 or more each year for the next three years. In addition, we hope these enterprises will adopt Singapore Children's Society as their official supported charity. 

Through this initiative, we hope to achieve an annual net contribution of $1 million for the next three years.    

Organisations can choose to participate as a Leading Enterprise (with donations of $10,000 or more) or as a Participating Enterprise (with donations between $1000 and $9999). The difference is in the amout of donations involved.

We hope that with each organisation coming onboard this project, we will light up the future of another child-in-need in Singapore.

Adopt a Handphone Strap

Share your love, hope and dreams with the 12,000 children, youth and families under our care by buying a handphone strap.

You can help by:
  1. Promoting the phone straps in your school, organisation or to your friends
  2. Making an outright donation. All donations are eligible for double tax deductions
Each handphone strap bears a Singapore Children’s Society’s logo and cost $2 each (inclusive of GST). The attractive phone straps come in a variety of four colours, blue, pink, black and white.
