We strongly believe that children are our hope for the future. In other words, the resources and time we invest in them today will shape our tomorrow. As a voluntary welfare organisation for all races, religions and creeds, we are committed to protect the physical, emotional and mental well-being of our children, particularly the disadvantaged and those at risk.

Our Mission
To bring relief and happiness to children in need
Our Vision
To be a leading edge organisation in promoting the well-being of the child
In the past 50 years, as the needs
of our children changed, our services have evolved to
meet their needs. Today, we operate islandwide to broaden
our reach. Each centre specialises in different services.
We have a Family Service Centre in Yishun and a Student
Care Centre in Henderson. Our Toa Payoh Centre focuses
on Youth Development, while our Bukit Merah Centre specialises
in Community Development. Sunbeam Place, on the other
hand, provides residential care for children.
The Children's Society is managed through an Executive
Management Committee comprising mainly of volunteers.
There are also five standing committees working closely
with our staff in the areas of Appeals (Fund Development),
Social Work Service, Research and Advcocacy, Information
& Corporate Relations and Sunbeam Place. The full-time
staff of professionals and corporate support staff are
headed by the Executive Director.
To provide the quality service in every aspect of our work, our committee members, volunteers and staff stand by the following core values.
- Compassion and caring
- Commitment
- Professionalism
- Integrity
- Openness to Change

The paper cutout figures exemplify the innate nature of the child whose perceptions have not yet been shaped by life's experiences. The figures are linked to each other as children are linked to family, the community and society - and to the past and the future to which they are reaching out.
The blue symbolises a sense of security and serenity. Complementing the figures, the Baskerville typeface is executed in a calming shade of soft grey. The weight and positioning are balanced with the visual of the two children to show that the Children's Society is sensitive to the needs of children and their families.
The tag line "Caring for the Future" communicates the forward-looking nature of our organisation, and that which it tries to instill in the minds of the children so as to motivate them.
